Anemone sylvestris

Deeply divided  mid-green leaves, from late spring and early summer, wiry stems bearing, cup-shaped, lightly fragrant, white flowers with prominent yellow stamens. Flowers are followed by white, woolly seed heads. excellent for adding early colour  to a mixed border.
